Happy Coach
BOOKING CONFIRMATIONS
Your responsibilities:
Open tickets: You must book your travel dates in advance with Happy Coach as per details provided on your voucher.
Tickets with booked dates: It is your responsibility to ensure you redeem your tickets on the dates booked. If you wish to change these dates you must organise it with the Happy Coach Byron Bay directly, with adequate notice. You must reconfirm all booked dates 48 hours prior to travel (minimum guide only) or in the manner stated on your voucher. It is your responsibility to ensure the dates on vouchers are correct and correspond to your own itinerary.
CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS
Customers will receive a credit, valid for 24 months with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
No-shows will be charged the full price.
CONDUCT
Passengers are required to conduct themselves in a manner acceptable to normal community standards. Aggressive or disorderly conduct displayed toward any other passengers or staff will not be tolerated and passengers may be refused entry or required to disembark at any time during transit.
Any costs incurred to the passenger/s as a result of refusal to board or removal during transit will be the sole responsibility of the offending passenger/s.
DRUGS and ALCOHOL
Happy Coach reserves the right to refuse entry or require a passenger to disembark at any time during transit if the passenger/s appear, in the opinion of Happy Coach, to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
Any costs incurred to the passenger/s as a result of refusal to board or removal during transit will be the sole responsibility of the offending passenger/s.
Consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs is NOT permitted on Happy Coach buses. Smoking is not permitted on Happy Coach buses.
Happy Coach reserves the right to vary schedules and prices without notice. Bookings made prior to any changes will be honoured and every endeavour will be made to notify passengers with valid bookings of changes to schedules.
CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL
All goods carried by passengers, either in the luggage trailer or on board, are at the passengers own risk. Happy Coach does not accept liability for goods lost, stolen or damaged either during transit or at drop off/pick up locations.
Passengers warrant that any luggage or other personal effects either carried on board or in the luggage trailer will not cause, either directly or indirectly, any damage or harm to other passengers, other passengers' effects or cause damage to the property of Happy Coach.
PASSENGERS WITH DISABILITIES/SPECIAL NEEDS
Passengers are required to advise Happy Coach of any special needs including assistance with boarding/disembarking. We will wherever possible try to accommodate passengers needs.
Any passenger that requires more than minimal assistance from the driver to board/disembark may be required to be accompanied by a carer. Any assistance from the driver is at the driver’s discretion to avoid injury to the driver.
Registered guide dogs are welcome to travel with their owner. Prior advice when booking is requested.
UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Internet bookings will not be accepted for unaccompanied minors. A legal guardian must be present for the entire duration of the tour.
In the event that a legal guardian is not present the unaccompanied minor will be transported to the nearest police station for their own safety and security.
INFANTS AND CHILDREN
Infants and Children under the age of 4 years old travel free and must be accompanied by an adult legal guardian. Infant capsules are not available however Happy Coach will endeavour to fit a child restraint seat if it is provided by the guardian. Contact Happy Coach for further information.
